Stewardship

In addition to performing established classical chamber music repertoire, Loon Lake Live regularly features living and lesser known composers. We are especially proud to have commissioned and/or premiered new works by American composers John Winn, Benjamin Tomkins, Jessica Mays, and Zae Munn.
This year, on August 11-13, we will be premiering a brand new work for flute, viola, and harp by Elizabeth Brown!

Education

We work to nurture the next generation and present a specially designed series focused on sharing classical music in a stimulating environment with North Country youth and their care givers. We also mentor and feature developing younger musicians, and have built an online Play-Along series for developing musicians of every age.  Check it out here. (Scroll down to "Sweets")

Community

Having long lasting community connections is vital to us; we have donated and partnered with local organizations in creating free concerts to help the arts thrive.  This year we created a video to support Historic Saranac Lake's undaunted and extraordinary efforts to preserve the history of Hungarian composer Bela Bartok's connection to Saranac Lake.
