The 2025 Season!
July 12–Aug 8
How it works:
Our concerts are FREE FOR EVERYONE, no ticket or reservation is required (unless indicated for special events), and all ages are welcome to attend.
Each concert is typically 75-90 minutes in length, no intermission, and are thoughtfully designed to deliver a unique, friendly, and welcoming experience for every listener.
We are proud to have offered our concert events free of charge for 28 years, but they aren’t cheap! 😊 We kindly suggest a minimum free will offering of $20 per adult, $10 per child, to show your appreciation and to support live music in the North Country.
Who are we?
Loon Lake Live is a vibrant chamber music series dedicated to building community through shared musical experiences. For 28 years, we've presented over 300 free concerts and educational programs across the Northern Adirondacks, featuring everything from Renaissance gems to world premieres—
always in intimate, welcoming settings.
"Thank you for bringing out the artist in all of us."

What kind of music do you play?We specialize in something called “classical chamber music” which is music for small ensembles composed from 500 years ago to just last month. But we don’t make your gran’s brand of concerts! We take the “playing” part of our work seriously, dabbling in some crossover genre-blurring with bluegrass and jazz, and creating thoughtfully designed concerts to deliver a unique, friendly, and welcoming experience for every listener.

Do I have to dress up?No! Come as you are.
